Testimonials

Ben Bolton
Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Office of Energy Programs
"You may have very well saved my life March 1st.
Rarely am I able to so instantly apply what I learned to my daily life. I attended your FEMA Tornado Awareness class taught at the Tennessee State Emergency Operations Center (TEMA SEOC) in Nashville on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
The next morning, unlike most days, I was working from home and was headed out the door when I heard the tornado sirens sound and received alerts on my smart phones (state and personal). Like most, I was surprised to learn tornado warnings are now tailored to just part of the county. Most of us have become desensitized to the sirens as they used to sound if there was a tornado warning for the whole county.
Immediately, I heard you emphatically telling us to stay home when that happens -- that despite our best intentions to do our jobs, the best action in that situation is not to be in traffic, not be outside, and immediately go to our safe spots.
So I went back inside to my basement den, turned on my local weather and saw the "green touching red, get under the bed" wind shear on the velocity radar. A radar confirmed tornado had been spotted west of my area. Sure enough, two EF1 tornadoes hit less than 10 miles from my house! I would've been on the interstate as a perfect target otherwise.
Many thanks for a great class that certainly applies not only to my professional life, but also my personal one as well."

Jim Philpitt
Captain, US Navy (Ret)
Joint Training Advisor & Senior Planner, United States Central Command, MacDill AFB, FL
"Cheryl Nelson is one of the most consummate professionals I've ever been privileged to work with. As a project manager/media planner and on camera host in support of the United States Joint Staff J7, her support to U.S. combatant commands in various exercise events worldwide has been unequaled. Her knowledge of news media issues, methodologies and aims has been crucial in preparing staff and senior military leadership for the myriad of challenges they would face from the national and international electronic media in the event of real world crisis situations and contingencies involving US military forces. Her previous TS/SCI clearance is testimony to her trustworthiness regarding issues of national importance and significance and her work ethic is without question. Capable of handling the most complex situations in her areas of expertise, I would not hesitate a moment to hire her. Based on my 35+ years in the national defense establishment and my repeated direct observation of her performance in multiple high-tempo, high-level military exercise events, she has readily earned my strongest personal endorsement and recommendation!"

"Cheryl is an absolute pleasure to work with and always had a wonderful smile on her face. While working on the same team as Cheryl with Forest Pharmaceuticals, I was able to witness her persuasive selling style, ability to quickly form meaningful relationships, along with her mastery of all products and how they interact with the human body. Her drive and confidence helped push her sales to the top and made me thankful to be part of her team.

On numerous occasions, physicians came up to tell me how much they enjoyed working with her and were excited about the great energy and knowledge she brought into their office. I highly recommended Cheryl for employment and know she has the abilities, personality, and intelligence to quickly succeed in any position."
