I started the #MicUp movement to end verbal abuse in the workplace during my January 2020 presentation at the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Centennial Conference in Boston, MA. My presentation was based on the anonymous survey of 489 broadcast meteorologists that I conducted in the fall of 2019.
